Often in our world we use the metaphor of a ladder to talk about success. We “climb the ladder” in business, or on a team, going from the bottom to the top. That’s the goal anyway. And while there is nothing wrong with wanting to excel and achieve competence in school, or sports, or any other pursuit, it’s important to ask how we’re going about it
