Today spend some time with the Lord asking Him to work on your heart. 

Talk to Him about what being close to Him means.  Meditate on the verse where Jesus calls some of his disciples in Matthew 4:18-20 (NIV):

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.  “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him.

Ask Him how He wants to use you TODAY to influence others for Him. Can you leave your nets and follow him?
